Trimble BD982 GNSS Receiver Module

Overview

The Trimble BD982, single GNNS board, is aimed at integrators and OEM's. Designed for precise heading and positioning, this board offers leading edge signal support by delivering multi-constellation RTK baselines between the two connected antennas and through to a remote base station.

The Trimble BD982 GNSS supports GLONASS L1/L2 as well as GPS L1/L2/L5 signals. In preparation for for Galileo, it can track the experimental GIOVE-A and GIOVE-B satellites for signal evaluation and testing purposes. BD982 also supports HP, OmniSTAR VBS, and XP services and is capable of sub-decimeter performance, even without using a base station.

Specification

BD982 from Trimble was designed with ease of integration and dependibility in mind. Customers benefit from the Ethernet connectivity available on the board, allowing high speed transfer of data and can be configurated using a standard web browser. Just like other Easy to use software commands simplify integration and reduce development times. The BD982 is rigorously tested to perform in the harsh environments your products are built for, with the reliability you expect from Trimble.
