Septentrio Satellite Navigation’s PolaRx2e@ is a new generation heading and multi-antenna receiver. Built on a board the size of a Euro card, the receivers can be used for many accurate attitude and heading navigation and positioning applications. Uses include photogrammetry, marine surveying and machine guidance.
The unit gathers and transmits GPS data with 1 to 3 antennas at the same time (for roll, pitch and heading). It is also able to transmit the relative positioning of 2 or 3 antennas. This capability can be used, for example, for steering moving parts, such as towed and agricultural equipment.
Precise update rates and accuracies are due to the manufacturer’s technically advanced front-end and baseband processor chips, which provide very low noise measurements.
The PolaRx2e@ comes in a waterproof, rugged housing with strong connectors so that it can be used in rough and remote environments.
