Overview

The Altus NR3 GNSS rover receiver from Septentrio incorporates leading GNSS and wireless technology into a sleek and compact design. It combines easy-to-use, multi-frequency, quad-constellation RTK with an unrivaled communications tool set for a successful survey or GIS project every time. This combination sets the new standard in positioning performance.

LOCK+ along with APME+ and IONO+ technology combines to offer the highest quality measurements for position calculations. It calculates an accurate and reliable position every time. The IONO+ technology ensures position accuracy over extended distances even during times of increased ionospheric activity while LOCK+ maintains tracking during mechanical shocks or vibrations.

Altus NR3 can carry out all-in-one Base and Rover operation. It comes with a Septentrio’s open technology that allows NR3 to be completely compatible with all other hardware and software solutions, thus increasing the use of existing equipment and driving down the cost of ownership.

Through Altus NR3 collection has been made simple as it unifies high-accuracy GNSS data with the power of data collection. This could be done by either using SurvCE or PinPoint Data Collector. PinPoint-GIS enables simple data collection from the Altus NR3 directly to the cloud, while SurvCE allows advanced survey data collection.

Altus NR3 is a robust receiver, featuring AIM+, which is the most advanced on-board anti-jamming technology available. From simple continuous narrowband signals to the most complex wideband and pulsed jammers, it can suppress the widest variety of interferes. In addition, the RF spectrum can be viewed on the WEB UI in real-time in both time and frequency domain.
