The Septentrio AsteRx-i S IMU-enhanced GNSS receiver board generates reliable and accurate orientation and position by processing high-quality data from the AsteRx GNSS receiver with IMU measurements.
The AsteRx-i S IMU-enhanced GNSS receiver board from Septentrio has been designed around demanding requirements for power consumption, weight and size, and is ideal for applications such as UAS photogrammetry, inspection with UAV’s, logistics, robotics and automation.
Septentrio’s multi-frequency, quad-constellation, reliable and accurate RTK is enhanced further by powerful INS/GNSS integration. The AsteRx-i S benefits from Septentrio’s GNSS+ toolkit for best performance. The dual antenna GNSS heading initialization provides reliable 3D positioning and attitude for the point of interest (POI).
Advanced interference monitoring and mitigation (AIM+) offers built-in protection against jamming, both intentional and unintentional, and spoofing by using a sophisticated system of mitigation and sampling mechanisms. The AsteRx-i S suppresses the widest variety of interferences from simple continuous narrow-band signals to more complex wide band and pulsed transmitters, as well as Iridium and Inmarsat satellite transmissions.
The AsteRx-i S features a desktop tool set and an intuitive on-board web user interface for easy monitoring and operation that allows the receiver to be controlled from any mobile device or computer. The web interface also has easy-to-read quality indicators to monitor the receiver operation.
Septentrio is a leader in the market for power consumption. Consuming typically 1.5 W and having a total weight of 38 g (IMU + GNSS receiver), the AsteRx-i is ideal for UAVs where payload and space are at a premium.
The AsteRx-i S allows flexibility of the IMU placement separate from the GNSS receiver allowing for the optimization of space for tight integrations. The versatile design and range of connection interfaces makes the AsteRx-i S ideal for applications in automation, robotics and logistics.
