The AsteRx-i V IMU-enhanced GNSS receiver delivers multi-frequency, quad-constellation, reliable and accurate RTK, and is also enhanced by powerful GNSS/INS integration. Using GNSS heading initialization, the AsteRx-i V provides 3D attitude of the POI (point of interest).
The AsteRx-i V uses Septentrio’s GNSS+ suite of positioning algorithms to deliver good positioning from difficult environments. The AIM+ interference monitoring and mitigation system suppresses a wide range of interference, from simple continuous narrowband signals to complex pulsed and wideband jammers.
The AsteRx-i V is ideal for photogrammetry and optical inspection, as it has been designed around demanding weight, size and power consumption requirements. Typically consuming 1.5 W and weighing less than 50 g, it is ideal for UAVs where both payload and space are at a premium. The design is versatile and the range of connection interfaces allows the AsteRx-i V to be used in logistics, robotics and automation and applications.
The AsteRx-i V’ UAS-tailored carrier board also enables the unit to integrate seamlessly into robotics and light UAV platforms. The IMU has been designed to be simple, bolt-on and plug-n-play for easy integration and testing. Integration, configuration and control of the AsteRx-i V is made easy with Septentrio’s software tools and open interfaces (RxTools webUI).
