The Septentrio AsteRx SBi is a housed GNSS/INS attitude and positioning receiver ideal for large scale machinery, as well as small machines and robotics.
The AsteRx SBi GNSS/INS receiver from Septentrio offers multi-frequency, multi-constellation GNSS combined with an industrial-grade IMU to deliver precise centimeter-level positioning with 3D attitude (heading, roll, pitch). The design includes a broad selection of antenna and connection options for quick and easy integration.
The unique Septentrio GNSS – IMU integration algorithm enables continuous positioning in areas with low satellite visibility where short GNSS outages can occur, e.g. near high structures, under bridges or under thick foliage. This makes AsteRx SBi ideal for use with machinery operating in challenging GNSS environments, such as near cliffs, and in urban canyons or container yards.
LOCK+ automatically adjusts the tracking loop parameters of the AsteRx SBi so you never lose position, even with mechanical vibrations or shocks caused by rough terrain.
IONO+ provides the best possible protection against ionospheric disturbances to GNSS signals on any receiver, preventing loss of RTK fix and even total loss of signal lock.
The APME+ system disentangles direct signals and signals reflected from metal and large nearby structures that cause multipath, thereby enhancing both measurement and position quality.
Advanced Interference Monitoring and Mitigation (AIM+), provides onboard protection against unintentional and intentional jamming and spoofing using sophisticated sampling and mitigation mechanisms. In robotic device environments, electronics close to each other tend to generate radiofrequency radiation which can interfere with GNSS signals. AIM+ offers protection against this type interference, which results in faster set-up time and continuous operation. A built in spectrum plot enables users to analyze and locate interference. The AsteRx SBi can suppress a very wide variety of interference from simple continuous narrow-band to complex wide band signals, and pulsed transmitters.
The AsteRx SBi includes a web user interface to control the receiver. This interface uses easy-to-read quality indicators ideal to monitor receiver operations during any job.
