Septentrio’s AsteRxi receiver is IMU enhanced to handle top-quality GNSS measurements and generate precise positioning. This is beneficial in difficult environments where GNSS-only receivers cannot operate. Furthermore, accurate attitude information about roll, pitch and heading is supplied.
AsteRxi comes in a single frequency module (AsteRx1i) and dual frequency configuration (AsteRx2i). The receiver outputs a number of measurements for position velocity, raw data, time and acceleration. The company’s A Posteriori Multipath Estimator (APME) handles short-delay multipath and enhances position and measurement data quality.
The unit is compact and consumes low power. Thus, it is suited for on-board and portable battery operated uses.
