Septentrio Satellite Navigation’s PolaRx3 is a high-performance, dual-frequency GLONASS/GPS receiver. It enables accurate GPS measurements, modernized L2C GPS, and dual-frequency GLONASS data. It also supports new GALILEO signals and timing/reference uses.
Designed especially for reference station operation and field logging, it receives L1/L2 signals from a maximum of 24 GLONASS or GPS satellites on 66 channels. A memory card built in stores data. Data quality is extremely low noise.
A Posteriori Multipath Estimator, effective for both types of satellites, handles short-delay multipath. Users can choose the level of precision, from decimeter to centimeter Real Time Kinematic positioning.
The PolaRx3 is housed in a rugged, waterproof case for operation in tough, remote environments. The unit also offers Ethernet, serial and USB ports, and 1GB internal data storage (optional). Logging takes place even when the unit is accidentally stopped—as in the case of power failure.
