The PolaRx5e is a multi-frequency GNSS reference receiver that is both robust and versatile. Its unique tracking design provides measurements with low noise while it constantly monitors and protects against multipath, ionospheric interference and other environmental effects.
The PolaRx5e was developed to support the most demanding applications for earth sciences and offers a range of advanced features which enable maximum functionality and accuracy. As it is powered by Septentrio’s next generation multi-frequency engine, the GNSS reference receiver offers 544 hardware channels to allow high quality, robust and GNSS tracking. The AIM+ (Advanced Interference Mitigation) technology has been proven in the field and enables the PolaRx5e to filter out unintentional and intentional radio interference, including Iridium interferers, chirp jammers and narrowband signals over high powered pulsed signals.
The patented APME+ multipath mitigation technology eliminates short delay multipath without introducing bias, thereby guaranteeing superior quality measurements. The APME+ can also be activated or deactivated by the user to obtain measurements that are completely unmodified.
Independent tests demonstrate that the PolaRx5e ranks highest among GNSS receivers consistently. This is true for various areas of measurement quality, including lowest power consumption and fewest number of cycle slips.
