Septentrio RxTools consists of a group of several applications designed to function with the company’s most recent GNSS receivers (excepting PolaRx2e, which supports PolaRx Graphical Tools Java). RxTools encompasses Data Link, SBF Analyzer, SBF Converter, RxUpgrade, RxLogger and RxControl.
RxControl user interface is a graphical application that monitors and controls Septentrio’s receivers in real time. It not only configures a Septentrio receiver, but also enables several screen views to monitor data and provides a simple logger where the user can record SBF data files received in real time.
RxLogger is a GUI offering enhanced logging capability. It supports logging on a number of streams simultaneously. For each stream, a SBF frequency rate may be specified. RxLogger post-processes SBF files by converting for example to CGGTTS and RINEX format, compressing the files and making FTP transfers. Actions can also be customized for reference receivers.
RxUpgrade is a GUI wizard that updates Septentrio receivers with different or new firmware. This can also be done by means of a command line to upgrade several receivers at a time.
Data Link graphic communication terminal has several ports which enables users to connect a receiver with other devices. For example, this is helpful for sending differential corrections to various ports, setting up a modem connection or configuring communication devices by using command line scripts.
SBF Converter user interface is a graphical application that helps convert SBF log files to other formats (ASCII, KML, RINEX), whereby one or more files can be converted at a time.
SBF Analyzer GUI analyzes SBF log file data. With this application, the user can see multiple SBF time plots and view historic information.
