The S800A GNSS receiver from Stonex contains a unique internal antenna that combines GNSS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi integrated modules to optimize space and increase performance. This technology provides stronger and cleaner signal monitoring, which means unprecedented results.
Designed for all day use in surveying applications, the S800A includes: Linux Operating System, WEB UI interface, UHF radio modem, high battery capacity and IP67 certification.
The S800A can select the best combination of GNSS signals automatically and is able to receive Atlas real time corrections when signals not available or interrupted. The S800A uses aRTK to greatly mitigate the impact of land-based communication instability.
In areas where local RTK communication links are unstable, aRTK provides an additional layer of communication redundancy to RTK users. Productivity is therefore not impacted by intermittent data connectivity as aRTK is delivered via satellite for uninterrupted centimeter positioning.
The Atlas subscription service can deliver 3 different levels of accuracy for the S800A, depending on the subscription type used. This is perfect when working in difficult areas where RTK correction sources are not available.
