Overview
GPS Source’s C21S Galileo/GLONASS/GPS combiner, like the C21 model, is an radio frequency unit equipped with 2 inputs and 1 output. The only difference is its streamlined construction.
Analagous to the C21, it obtains input beamed by two GPS antennas, merges the data into one beacon, and in turn sends it to a GPS receiver. Thus, the C21S supplies power to the active GPS antennas on its ports by relaying direct current it obtains from a radio frequency output to the 2 (J1 and J2) antenna input ports.
The unit comes with more options for custom-tailoring to user requirements than any comparable products on the market. For example, there are different connectors for the inputs and output. Customers can also select military standard EMI shielding for amplifiers and splitters, hermetic sealing in an airtight circuit board assembly, and waterproof casing for installation outdoors.
