Overview
GPS Source’s GLI-METRO puts the newest GPS amplifier technology in a convenient self-contained unit. Customers can use this smart amplifier to control effective radiated power levels. This is independent of uncertain gain or loss on the receive antenna cable network.
GLI-METRO is smart enough to prevent performance changes and condition the signal automatically. The GPS signal is brought safely into a shielded room or automated test environment.
Because it is based on top-quality systems used in military applications, GLI-METRO handles L1 GPS signals as well as oscillation detection/prevention. L2 is optional for approved uses. Wireless Bluetooth interface, which can be configured remotely, is also available as an option.
Only qualified customers can obtain the unit. These include entities operating GPS repeaters in anechoic chambers, those that have an FCC approved Experimental License or STA, U.S. Federal Government authorized parties, U.S. Federal Government agencies and international customers outside the United States.
