Overview
GPS Source’s GPSRKL1 repeater kit contains an amplifier assembly, an active outdoor antenna, a cable assembly and an optional coax lightening protection. The GPS frequency repeater consumes low power and is used in places where there is no GPS signal present.
The GPSRKL1 functions by procuring GPS satellite signals by means of an antenna mounted outside the hangar/building/structure and using the signal indoors or in a covered space. The GPSRKL1 is not used for indoor navigation.
The GPS signal that is repeated is used to test and initialize the system as well as demonstrate the product. The GPS position of any equipment operating from the signal transmitted would mirror the active outdoor antenna’s position instead of the real GPS receiving device.
The GPSRKL1 is highly customizable with more options than provided by competitive products. Connector types, antenna DC, other power options, and additional cable lengths are available.
