Overview
GPS Source’s military-qualified MS24 GPS Splitter with built in antenna switch is supplied with two input and four output GPS splitters. It contains a sensor to determine antenna health as well as a built-in antenna switch. Two input ports make it possible for the splitter to be plugged into two GPS receiving antennas.
In case the primary splitter fails, the unit switches to the second antenna, ensuring redundancy. When the failure is resolved, operation with the primary is resumed. The automatic switch can also be controlled manually.
Because the MS24 distributes signals to two devices thanks to the two output RF ports, it eliminates the necessity for several GPS antennas to be mounted on a platform or roof. This also makes it possible for all connected GPS units to stay fully operational if an antenna failure should occur.
All of GPS Source’s splitters can be configured with amplified, passive or custom gain.
