Overview
The AsteRx SB from Septentrio is a multi-constellation, triple-frequency integrated GNSS receiver that delivers powerful performance from quad-constellation positioning for high reliability and accuracy. The design is low-power and compact, making it the ideal high-performance GNSS receiver for demanding applications where power, weight and size are at a premium.
The AsteRx leverages Septentrio’s Lock+, INON+, APME+ and AIM+ technologies.
Satellite tracking can become extremely challenging due to mechanical vibrations or shocks caused by rough terrain. You’ll never lose position as the Lock+ feature automatically adjusts the tracking loop parameters of the unit.
Activity in the ionosphere can cause loss of RTK fix to total loss of signal lock. The AsteRx SB also features IONO+, the most advanced protection of GNSS signals against ionospheric disturbances.
Large nearby structures and metal can produce multipath by reflecting GNSS signals. Direct and reflected signals are disentangled with the APME+ system, thus enhancing both measurement and position quality. APME+ is bias free and can be disabled.
Intentional and unintentional jamming are protected by AIM+ using sophisticated sampling and mitigation mechanisms. The AsteRx SB is able to suppress the widest range of interference from both simple continuous narrow-band signals to more complex wide band and pulsed transmitters. Interference from Iridium and lnmarsat satellite transmissions are also suppressed.
The AsteRx SB utilizes an intuitive web user interface for easy operation and monitoring allowing the receiver to be controlled from any computer or mobile device. The web interface also features quality indicators that enables the monitoring of receiver operation.
