Overview

The Trimble BD940-INS module utilizes Trimble’s know-how in Inertial and GNSS technology. With inertial sensors integrated in the same module, the unit is able to produce robust high accuracy positions in all environments.

The Trimble BD940-INS was designed with flexible interfacing in mind. With Ethernet connectivity available on the board, configuration via standard web browsers and high speed data transfer becomes a breeze. The board also has RS-232 and USB ports. Development times are reduced and integration simplified through easy to use software commands. An intuitive 3D interactive graphical web page allows lever arm details to be captured easily. Dynamic and graphic models for various vehicle types are also available.

With fully shielded GNSS components, the design protects the high quality signals from EMI sources on the host platform.

Get reliable RTX initializations for 1–2 centimeter positioning with the Trimble BD940-INS supporting dual frequency from Galileo and BeiDou, as well as triple frequency from the GLONASS and GPS and constellations.

The Trimble BD940 GNSS-INS is available in a wide variety of configurations, including a four constellation triple frequency RTK unit and an autonomous GPS L1 unit.

Features can be upgraded with passwords, allowing you to upgrade your functionality as required.

OmniSTAR or RTX services may be utilized, allowing the BD940-INS to deliver various levels of performance without having to use a base station.
