Overview
The Stonex S40 rugged GNSS handheld, with it’s IP67 certification, can withstand any harsh environment. This handheld runs Android, making it compatible with a large number of applications and allowing for the development of custom applications. This highly efficient data collector is steady and durable, making it an ideal device for GIS users.
72 integrated GPS channels, SBAS technology, an 8 MP camera (with autofocus), GSM, Wi-Fi and BlueTooth are only some of the many features that enable high performance and high productivity.
The S40 supports RTCM 2.X differential correction signals from CORS and GPS networks in addition to the worldwide correction signals WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN and MSAS. The positioning accuracy can reach up to 0.5 m, thanks to the real time differential corrections (RTK with SBAS).
